Bermuda is the most soughed after vacation destination which exhibits unusual pink sand beaches with clear and blue ocean water. This magnificent island provides an excellent opportunity to the divers for exploring various wrecks and coral reefs.
All of the forts established in the island were built by the British. Fort Hamilton is one of the substantial forts which provide an opportunity to view the splendid beauty of the island. It was built in 1870’s to protect from the American forces and cruise ships. It accommodates plenty of cannons, gun emplacements and protective walls.
This polygonal Victorian fort offers a hilltop site stellar views and stunning gardens which will make your trip to the place worthwhile. The fort is surrounded by deep moat making it very difficult for the attacking forces to enter the main section of the fort. Now the moat is overgrown with bamboo, palms etc giving them a touch of mini-jungle. It also exhibits an underground tunnel below the outer wall.
